First of all, the total cost of the services provided ($2250) is for settlement in Canada, not for a job. As stated in my letter you are not paying for a work contract, you are paying for services provided. The 2000 dhs is the cost of the work that I do and yes it is not refundable. I have done a lot of research and I spend time to make up the best possible CV. You only start paying for services once you have been accepted and the company believes that you will gain employment in Canada. EX. If you make an application for immigration, you pay for that service and they can not guarantee you favorable results, nor do they refund your money, as they are spending their time to give you the services. It is the same for the company that I represent, they are an immigration company, however, they also deal with work contracts in Canada. Most people wishing to go to Canada want to go to Canada in order to obtain a better paying job and better their situation. At this time in Canada we have many people who have immigrated to Canada to find that life is different, there was no test drive. With a work contract you are able to see what life is like in Canada, before deciding if it is what you are looking for. If not, the only money you spent was for the initial set up of accommodations, since most companies pay your airfare to and from Canada. I am sorry about the attachment, the program I used is very new and I realized after what had happened. I can not accept applications by internet as I have company procedures to follow too. For example: I have to make up a Canadian CV for you, do an assessment on your English and submit a file to the company in Canada. The 40 men last year and 16 men so far this year...Well, they put in their candidature however, they never thought about who would be paying for the set up of their home, furnishings, airport pick up, orientation to Canada (government paperwork, setting up accounts, getting to know your surrounding area...etc). However, each person was told they would be responsible to pay for their own settlement fees, as the companies did not provide that. Only when the contract came did they realize that they could not afford to pay for their home, furnishings and the settlement company to pick them up and do all the orientation to Canada. Years ago, companies paid for these services, however, they lost a lot of money due to people not fulfilling their contracts, so they have stopped doing that. Some of these men went to other countries and didn't bother to tell me and we worked hard to get them approved and set things up for them, only to find that they were not available. How long does the procedure take? It depends on if you are approved for job immediately or not. Last year, we had men apply on Saturday and on Monday they were told they had contracts coming. Some men have waited for months to get suitable employment. So it really depends on what the employer is looking for. We do not receive the NOC or the IELTS, we receive LMOs from the government. LMO's are required for each job in Canada that is asking to be filled by a foreign national. We submit an application for an LMO and the government decides whether to accept or not. It is the same for the visa, you can receive an LMO and work contract from Canada, but it is up the the issuing embassy whether to accept or decline each application. We do not collaborate with our government to allow people to get Visa's, the decision rest solely upon the interviewing officer. Last year our success rate was 98%, the other 2% were not accepted due to health issues or English communication problems.
